CARING FOR YOUR POLISH POTTERY

Boleslawiec Pottery has been crafted in the charming town of Boleslawiec since the 1700s. To this day it is hand-painted and hand-stamped by skilled artisans who were first inspired by the unique beauty of peacock feathers. No two pieces are exactly alike. Cobalt blues, rustic reds, and evergreens are the traditional colors of this pottery; however, other color schemes have emerged in recent years creating more contemporary looks.

Each pottery workshop imprints a unique stamp on the bottoms of their pieces. Some exclusive patterns may be signed by the artists who create them.

Polish Pottery is not only beautiful, it is very durable. It is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe. A protective lead-free and cadmium-free glaze makes the pottery chip resistant and easy to clean. The durability and versatility of this pottery, combined with its beauty, make it perfect for everyday use. The elegant designs make it easy to mix and match patterns.

Please make sure to bring the pottery to room temperature before moving from one temperature extreme to another (e.g., freezer straight to oven). Never place pottery directly on a gas or electric burner.
